Krystal Moore

Senior Law Clerk

Krystal has been an integral part of the family law group at BSLSC since 2013 as a Senior Law Clerk. Since graduating from the Niagara College Law Clerk Program in 2004, Krystal has worked exclusively in the area of family law, acquiring legal experience supporting lawyers with diverse matters at all levels of court and tribunals including the Ontario Court of Justice, Superior Court, and Court of Appeal of Ontario. Krystal graduated with Honours from the Seneca Paralegal Certificate Program in 2019.

Early in her career, Krystal was fortunate to be involved in the preparation for the birth registration litigation (M.D.R. v. Ontario (Deputy Registrar General)) and assisted intervener counsel at the Court of Appeal in the three parent recognition case (A.A. v. B.B.), gaining invaluable experience in family law procedure. Krystal prepares motion materials, conference materials and mediation briefs using her proven analytic skills in complex property division and income disputes. Krystal also works with clients to prepare financial disclosure and draft pleadings.

Krystal sat as a Director for the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario from 2010 to 2013 and has moderated the Annual Family Law for Law Clerks Program. She continues to grow her knowledge through Continuing Professional Development and education.
